We charter support vessels adapted to our projects, and mobilize our equipment on board these vessels around the world.
In addition to its cable-laying and protection activities, LD TravOcean designs and builds the equipment required for its operations, giving it first-rate technical and operational expertise.
Design and manufacture of adapted equipment
In addition to its submarine cable installation activities, LD TravOcean designs and develops the cable trenching equipment required for its offshore operations (trenchers, vibratory plows, jetting carts, light plows, trenchers, ROVs).
This ability to design and manufacture “made-to-measure” equipment enables LD TravOcean to react quickly and offer solutions tailored to its customers’ needs.
Support Vessels
From dynamic positioning (DP) vessels to simple barges, LD TravOcean charters the most appropriate vessel for each contract, depending on the work site and the particularities of the project.
LD TravOcean uses its know-how and experience to adapt/transform the chartered naval support by installing an anchoring system, accommodations, a cable yard or turntable, a cable raceway, a davit, the complete mooring system, etc., as required.
